We have a couple of exciting announcements to make!
FIRSTLY, WE WOULD LIKE TO INTRODUCE DR ELIZABETH
Meet Dr Elizabeth Settles, our internal medicine specialist who will be at Bangalow Vets every Monday!
Elizabeth offers specialist consultations, diagnostic ultrasound scans, echocardiograms (heart ultrasounds), CT scans and endoscopy.
Dr. Elizabeth Settles grew up on a small farm in rural Kentucky in the United States. She attended the University of Kentucky where she studied Microbiology and Music Performance. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Auburn University and completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the University of Missouri, and a dual residency in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. She became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Small Animal Internal Medicine and has also completed advanced training in Pharmacology and Immunology.
Elizabeth has worked for many years in private specialty internal medicine, cardiology, and emergency as well as general practice in the U.S.A. She worked for Veterinary Specialist Services Carrara last year and has now transitioned to Animal Emergency Australia in a new role as Consulting Internal Medicine Specialist. She enjoys all aspects of internal medicine practice but is particularly drawn to highly complicated cases involving immune system and endocrine dysfunction.
IN OTHER NEWS… WE ARE OPENING 24/7!
Our after-hours emergency clinic, North Coast Emergency Vets, will be open on weeknights from September onwards!
What does this mean? NCEV will be open weeknights, weekends, and all public holidays. There will be a vet and nurse at the clinic all night, every night, looking after patients and any emergencies you may have after-hours.
Bangalow Vets’ business hours won’t change, we will still be open from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5pm.
Rest assured that your pets can get veterinary care any time, any day, at Bangalow Vets and North Coast Emergency Vets.
